Artist Biography

Patricia8b.jpg

Patricia is a visual artist based in the city of Richmond Hill, located in Ontario, Canada. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from York University, along with a Bachelor of Education in Visual Arts from University of Western Ontario.

Patricia is particularly known for her intricate and detailed illustrative style, which captivates audiences and reflects her artistic vision. Her current body of work, characterized by her beautiful watercolours, draws inspiration from the natural world as well as her personal experiences. Through her art, she employs themes of storytelling, nature, and symbolism to thoughtfully explore complex ideas related to overcoming both imposed and self-inflicted barriers, all while conveying a profound message of encouragement and resilience in the face of obstacles.

Patricia's watercolours have been showcased in a variety of group exhibitions, including the esteemed Mastrius Navigator Online Art Exhibit titled "Emotions of Colour," which took place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She has also taken part in Artist in Residence programs at the Mill Pond Gallery. She had the opportunity to host engaging painting workshops, deliver an art demonstration, and provide an artist talk to the Markham Group of Artists. Her work has not only been displayed at the noteworthy 30th International Fine Art Exchange show in Quincy, Florida, but it has also made appearances in the Happy Maru Gallery located in Seoul, South Korea. In addition, Patricia participated in the Brooklyn Art Library's Sketchbook Projects and generously donated her works to the annual Twitter Art Exhibit (now known as the Postcard Art Exhibit) from 2019 through 2023. Currently, she navigates for Mastrius, a vibrant global artist mentorship community where she finds fulfillment in connecting with and collaborating alongside other talented professional and master artists.
