Postcard Art Exhibit
Every year, the Twitter Art Exhibition (now called Postcard Exhibit) invites artists worldwide to share their talents and create a postcard work of art to help support various charities. This aligns entirely with the reason why I participate every year in this art show. My goal is to provide art that enhances the quality of people’s lives by providing calming, serene and healing work.
TAE19 - Edinburgh, Scotland Supported Charity: Art in Healthcare
TAE20 - Myrtle Beach, North Carolina, United States. Supported Charity: The Horry County Disabilities and Special Needs.
TAE21 - Cheltenham Racecourse, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, United Kingdom Supported charity: LINC (The Leukaemia & Intensive Chemotherapy)
TAE 22 "Waiting for Spring" This year's postcard helped support The Encephalitis Society in York, United Kingdom and it sold! I hope the new owner enjoys having it in her home as much as I loved creating this delicate flower.
TAE 2023 "Calming the Tempest" Watercolour and Gold Leaf 5 x 7 inches This year TAE helped support the UNYA (the Urban Native Youth Association) in Vancouver, British Columbia. The fundraiser raised $17, 262 (CAD) for UNYA, which is amazing! This little postcard was sold and was chosen as one of Kelly Kitson's "Favourite Five Choices by the TAE Curator." It received a full page in the TAE print catalogue. I was very honoured that this little postcard made a difference and is enjoyed by others.
